This week, I’ll be screening the new Disney Fairies movie “Secret of the Wings”, starring none other than Tinker Bell and the newest Fairy, Periwinkle.
Although my kids aren’t accompanying me on this trip, I still wanted to get them excited for not only my trip but “Secret of the Wings” as well. Bunny is a huge Tinker Bell fan and she can not wait to see the new movie!
To get us excited for “Secret of the Wings” and our trip, we were sent an awesome retro snow cone maker with some fantastic Fairy-approved recipes. We decided to try out Periwinkle’s Blueberry Pixie Frost. The kids absolutely loved it!
You’ll need:
1 cup honey
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 frozen or fresh blueberries
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and heat to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Mash or blend blueberries, then strain. Chill liquid in fridge. Swirl over shaved ice and enjoy!
You can find more recipes like this one and other fun activities, games, and printables over at the Secret of the Wings website.
Be sure to like the Disney Fairies on Facebook, too!
“Secret of the Wings” comes to Disney DVD and Blu-Ray combo packs on October 23rd.
Disclosure: I received the snow cone machine as part of the #DisneyInHomeBloggers press trip, which I am attending as a correspondent for SippyCupMom.com. I was not required to post this recipe.
