I am so excited for it to finally be fall.
Fall is my favorite season. The weather is perfect, the food, football playoffs, the colors on the trees…it’s all just fantastic.
I also love being able to dress up in my favorite sweaters and boots. When you throw on a sweater and boots, you look put together with minimum effort. A t-shirt and jeans never has the same effect.
Today, I busted out my favorite new sweater purchase from New York & Company. It’s oversize, it’s soft, it’s amazingly comfortable, but it looks like I put tons of thought into what I threw on five minutes before I rushed to drop Bunny off at school. I got lots of compliments on it at drop-off today and that kind of thing makes my day, y’all. {I wish I could say I was working for NY&Co and they paid me in sweaters for this post, but they didn’t and I don’t.}
I paired the sweater with skinny jeans, my favorite riding boots from Target {last season}, gold earrings, and a chunky bracelet {also NY&Co} for an easy, but fabulous fall outfit.
I only hope the cooler weather continues and we don’t end up with freak 80+ degree days like we did last year. I want to pack away the shorts {after my WDW trip this week, that is} and embrace the fresh fall air coming through my windows each day, even if my allergies are driving me crazy.
